Continuity of Care

Since September we have been implementing our continuity-based GP list system. as we believe patients will get the most effective care if they have a strong relationship with a GP. Whenever possible patients are being booked with their usual GP, or their GP buddy, and our continuity of care index has already significantly increased in just 3 months.

Feedback from patients has also been positive. If patients have an urgent problem, we will always make sure they are seen as quickly as we can, which may be with another GP. However, if it is a routine appointment, we strongly encourage patients to wait and book in with their usual GP.
