Microsuction ear wax removal

For the month of February 2026, we will be booking patients who are eligible for free NHS ear wax removal only. From March 2026 onwards we will also be taking bookings for the non-NHS paid for service. You can request an appointment by following this link .... Please read eligibility criteria for the NHS service carefully and ensure accurate answers.

Ear wax removal is funded by the NHS in the following cases

• Presence of hearing aids with ear wax removal required to prevent interference with the proper functioning of the device
• Patients with significant learning disability, impaired communication and dementia
• Patients who need accurate diagnostic assessments such as a hearing test where ear wax removal is necessary for accurate results
