Patient Participation Group (PPG) Update

The PPG executive in partnership with the CMC Management team, have agreed a new PPG Terms of Reference (ToR). This will be presented at the AGM on 13 January 2026.

As part of the new ToR, PPG membership will be restricted to a smaller group of up to 20 patients who are committed to working with CMC, to the benefit of both patients and staff.

The current PPG chair, Maggie Blackmore, has written a personal note below:

To all patients, this is your chance to consider how you can help the future PPG. The hours are not onerous but the value of patient representation is significant. If you are good at organising, using a computer, fundraising or social media, and can spare a few hours every other month, then please register your interest as soon as possible. As the saying goes "your
