OPTIMISE 2 Study
Assessing Symptom-driven versus maintenance preventer therapy for the outpatient management of Asthma in children.
Please refer children and young people 6-15 years with mild asthma who are prescribed inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) – the study is investigating whether symptom driven use of inhaled corticosteroid is non-inferior to daily maintenance on the risk of asthma attacks requiring oral corticosteroid.

If you are aware of a patient who is interested in withdrawing from their anti-depressants, please task Natanya Alder or the Research team who can send them a study poster to discuss with their GP at their next appointment.
