A commercial trial for the treatment of suspected early dementia with ‘donanemab’ in a clinic in Bristol. If you feel that a patient is likely to have dementia following memory assessment in primary care, they can be considered. They will have a PET scan, memory testing conducted.
They need to achieve at least 20 on their MMSE to be involved (or 6CIT/GPCOG scores that demonstrate memory loss but not too significantly).
