Breast Screening Awareness
Early detection through routine Breast Screening remains the most effective way to catch breast cancer at its earliest, most treatable stage, often before any physical symptoms even appear!
If you are a woman between the ages of 50 and 70, you will be invited for an NHS breast screening every three years, a quick and vital appointment that could quite literally save your life. A mammogram takes a few minutes and offers peace of mind. It can give the best chance for successful treatment.
Please don't wait for symptoms to appear, and ensure you attend your appointment when your invitation arrives from the Avon Breast Screening team. If you have missed your Breast Screening appointment, you can still attend.
To book your appointment please call 0117 414 7070 or please visit the NHS website.
